Mumbai Fringe is coming to life because of the people who believe in it. As Mumbai’s first ever Fringe Festival, this inaugural edition is being built entirely from scratch. There is no template, no blueprint, no precedent. Every detail, from programming to production, is happening for the very first time, shaped by a small, deeply committed team and a shared love for independent and experimental art. Most of our ticket revenue goes directly to the artists. Many of them are self funding their travel, rehearsals, and production costs just to be part of this historic first edition. Supporting them is not an afterthought. It is the heart of what Fringe stands for. Fringe Bestie is for those who want to stand with us while we build this from the ground up. With limited resources and a lean team, much of this work happens quietly, often without pay, driven purely by belief. When you become a Fringe Bestie, you are directly supporting artists, production, venues, and the ecosystem that allows bold new work to exist. You are not just contributing funds.
